Overview

Vallor's Reports view lets you export your full contract list β€” or a filtered subset β€” as a spreadsheet. The export includes all visible columns: contract name, company, status, expiration date, contract type, renewal type, and more.

This is useful for creating an offline contract register, preparing for an audit, or sharing a snapshot with stakeholders who do not have Vallor access.

Step 1: Go to Reports

From the left sidebar, click Reports. This opens the full contract list with all your workspace contracts.

Step 2: Filter the contracts you want to export

Use the available filters to narrow down the list before exporting:

  • Click Filter with AI and describe what you are looking for in plain English

  • Click Advanced Filter to apply manual filters by status, contract type, renewal type, or date range

If you want to export all contracts, skip this step and go straight to Export.

Tip: Filter to a specific category or status first to keep the export focused and easy to work with.

Step 3: Click Export

Once the list shows the contracts you want, click the Export button in the top-right corner of the page. A dialog will appear with two delivery options.

Step 4: Choose how to receive the file

In the Export dialog, choose one of the following:

  • Download to my computer β€” saves the XLSX file directly to your downloads

  • Email the file β€” sends the export to your email address

Click Download to confirm.

Step 5: Open and use the file

Open the downloaded XLSX in Excel or Google Sheets. The file contains one row per contract with all the columns visible in your Reports view at the time of export. You can sort, filter, and share it like any standard spreadsheet.

Note: The export captures the view as it was when you clicked Export. If you add more contracts or change filters afterward, run the export again to get an updated file.

Tips

  • Filter to high-risk clauses only before exporting to create a focused risk register you can share with your legal team.

  • Use the Contract ID column to create links back to Vallor from your spreadsheet, so reviewers can jump straight to the source.

  • If you export regularly (e.g. monthly), save your filter settings as a preset so you can re-run the same export in one click.

  • Clause text can be long, so freeze the header row in Excel and set columns to wrap text for easier reading.
